About the Artist

Timothy White

Just Call me Tim

I have doodled, drawn, or painted since I before could form sentences. Creating beauty gives me energy. Creating beauty that delights others is even better.

It has been a long journey to get here. My art has been published in teen magazines, and Russian book covers; my art has been seen on stage as the backdrop for plays like Peter Pan and Singing in the Rain; I have painted murals at two of the US Teak-Won-Do dojos in Colorado Springs as well as the children’s oncology center. I have been part of several art shows, beginning with a solo show in Austria at the end of High School. I have sold numerous originals and commissioned works.

My other artistic endeavors included composing music, allowing me to write an orchestral arrangement that was played on the radio from coast to coast. I have sung in large choirs and run sound for several rock bands. I have made knives, axes, and chainmail. I have made jewelry and built numerous structures.

I love teaching others how to be creative. This has happened in a children’s camp, a creative coach and leading paint nights.

I grew up in Austria surrounded by castles and palaces alike. I’ve danced where emperors once did and strolled through a zoo that is older than our great country. From the squares of Venice to Monet’s Water Lilies in Paris, and the back streets of Cinque Terre, I had the incredible privilege of being surrounded by great beauty and culture. It is this beauty I seek to capture and share.

I currently reside in Colorado Springs with my wife of 30 years. We are blessed to have three (im)perfect children and two children-in-law. we also have 11 chickens, 13 koi, two cats, and a dog. One can only wonder what creature my wife will bring home next.

But probably the most significant thing about my life is my passion and love for Jesus Christ. I have been both a missionary and a pastor and love preaching the Word of God.
